Spring in New Hampshire-2012

New Hampshire—April 2012 After two weeks at the Marriot, I move into my condo—three bedrooms if you include the loft. On Lake Winnipisocki but no lake view…Doesn’t matter—I live in Paradise most of the time. I miss my heavenly views in Nosara. But mostly I miss Joe and the dogs. And of course I miss my daily noon swim under the bright tropical sun. It is a chilly Easter here. Buds are beginning to show on the trees—nature is close up here like in Nosara..and the paved roads don’t take away from the pristine beauty. These are curved country roads and unlike Nosara, they are paved. The job is good. I am very busy. I have been oriented to two outpatient facilities and three nursing homes—being spread thin to cover the huge psychiatric needs. I see patients one after another for not nearly long enough. So far, I am doing well. I learned my meds in the five years I prescribed in Boston. But I do better with more time. *************************************** June 2012….Back to Paradise in two weeks!!. We will have a Fourth of July party with fireworks!!! Joe survived without me while I was in the Inferno—(the world of work). I will only be in Nosara for one month..Then back to NH for three more months. This job is a good fit for me, so far.…Hopefully we will pare down the credit card a bit—I can’t work like this forever—or maybe I can..We have one doc here at the clinic who is 80 and doing fine. I am now licensed to prescribe in Oregon, New Hampshire, Connecticut and Massachusetts . Joe had some medical problems the last couple of months…Nothing serious but it underscores our wish to be closer to medical care. We do have daily flights to San Jose from Nosara but so far Joe has been hiring Gunter to drive him to San Jose for medical procedures. Summer is arriving here in NH. Trees green and lush from all the rain. Sun is getting stronger. This week was Motorcycle week where hundreds—probably thousands of motorcycles descended on the area. I met my friend Lorae in Wolfboro last week and she showed me some of the good shops which I never would have found on my own. When I come back I will find out more about hiking and boat trips. When my family visited we had a lovely 2 hours on a lake cruise, and I have since found out about renting smaller boats to go to the lake islands.. Now I am packing for my return. Joe talked me into buying a box of English pub glasses. And the new DVD’s to get him through the rainy seasons…And an Ipad 2… Come visit us in Nosara…Joe and Helena
